Eric considers himself a “Senior Ranking Student” more than an Instructor. He completed a series of lessons with Bill Bachman shortly before returning home from Texas, and continually searches for interesting concepts to share with his students. He joined the Grace Note Music Studio staff in May 2014 and has taken on guitar and bass students along with drum students. Eric’s big project is a drum set instructional series titled “Grid Grooves: Getting from Grid Lock to Creative Drumming.” The series is designed for drummers who want to grow their rhythmic vocabulary, and is used exclusively at Grace Note Music Studio. Eric genuinely loves helping people learn to play their instruments and discover music’s beauty. He also puts his ideas and principles to the test with Ron Rodgers and the Last Chance Saloon. The Last Chance Saloon (LCS) played its first live performance in September, 2013 and has remained very busy since then. The band plays a diverse collection of country music along with music from other genres to keep things moving along. It is a very exciting time for all the band members and the future looks very promising.
